Once Again...Curfew
After yesterday's crazy events in Sadr City, with 5 car bombs (three effective) and more than 200 deaths, Baghdad is once again under curfew, until further notice.

istaghfurAllah.. this will not end any time soon.. i wish it would, but i fear it won't. Please try to be safe inshaa Allah.. all of you.. we're all afraid, and we wish everyone would just come here and get out of there.
I don't know who this anonymous blogger who continuously changes their name trying to convey messages is, but now I really don't appreciate it. I am praying that a majority of my family doesn't die right now, and here you are mocking and trying to get a message across. I think its safe to say that we have already established who is to blame, and it comes from both sides; Americans and Iraqis. There are angry Americans, and there are angry Iraqis who are just trigger happy and don't want any peace in the country. Being both Iraqi and American gives me the right to say that. Not all are like this, obviously, and there are so many people on both sides who want to change the country for the better, but many are blind to this fact, as well. We understand what you are trying to get across, whether wrong or right, so please just stop with the nonsensical comments and pray with us that the innocent and good people live, please.
I believe that anonymous person has to be joking ironically. They are trying to tell you to thank Bush for the democracy and freedom that he has brought you...........which of course, is a sad joke.
Anyway, Fatima you and yours are in my thoughts! I hope things will get better "hopefully" soon!!! Stay safe!
I am thinking of you OFTEN and am worried sick ... how on earth are you guys coping without going nuts??? I REALLY admire you ... I do pray every day for this nighmare to STOP ... but, as your hubby's sister said, am afraid it won't happen so soon! WATCH YOURSELF DEAR ... my prayers are with you and ALL the Iraqi people!!
Soothsayer, if you're not going to say something that makes a little sense, it's best you don't say anything at all. Where the heck did the Jews come in to all of this? Can you stop pointing fingers and just pray for all the poor people who are suffering?
nadia, Yes of course. Still you do not mention the Jews whom are members of neither AIPAC nor Israel...the "journalists", professors, rights groups etc. These wretches are equaly responsible.
still with zionism we are talking about an ideology and politics, and not a religion or people. even ahmadinejad and hezbollah make that distinction.
i don't want to get into this too deeply or distract from the original debate, i don't know where you are from/at, but here there are problems with political issues involving israel where people try to discredit criticism of israel by saying that those that do do so simply because they are anti-semitic. it also doesn't help that say, fascists and neonazis will talk about the palestinian cause because of their hatred of jews.
it's just simply not helpful. besides that zionism enjoys more support from evangelical christians in america than american jews, the implications are pretty crappy. it also doesn't say anything for anti-zionist, or other differences of jewish opinion.
in the same way that branding say, al qaeda or mubarak's regime or an iraqi insurgency, just "the muslims" causing trouble again, islamofascism etc would be problematic, for its foreign policy implications and muslim minorities elsewhere. it's semantics, but it's still dangerous language to use.
I do not mean the a majority of Jews. Yet i do mean those Zionist jews and their lackeys around the world..How they must love and gloat seeing Iraqis destroy each other and how they gloat that Iraqis are going to hang the sovereign leader of Iraq, and it was all their plan. Next they would plan to make Iraqis their slaves and concubines.
USApatriot, cut back on the Fox News a little bit buddy. I know all you "stay the course (right off the edge) people think its all roses over here. Maybe you should bring your parents for a vacation to Baghdad, and let the people thank them for their "freedom." I'm sure they will have an explosive time.
Iraqis should be made to pay the USA's war costs. Also Iraq should pay compensation for each and every American soldier killed and wounded by your terrorists.
I think this anonymous dude is playing schizophrenic here. I know there are ignorant people everywhere, but no way would some idiot like that come to this blog and post anything of the sort. I don't think they would even be smart enough to understand. Dude, stop with the split personality disorder and shut up already.
"Americans and Jews manipulated bad Iraqis who then manipulated naive Iraqis" Actually it was me. I was trying to liberate my old neighborhood Al-Battaween. With everythng going on in Iraq right now, I can't believe that the Jews are also (again)brought into the equation.Don't you people have enough problems??
usapatriot, Iraq did not choose to go to war with America, America chose to go to war with it. Who then is responsible for the reparations to thousands of Iraqi families who have lost people during the war?
Can nobody understand sarcasm? (hint hint maslawiyya and others). Obviously "USAPATRIOT" does not really mean that Iraq has to pay reparation. And stop paying attention to the nonsense he keeps saying about Jews, etc. Notice how he blurts out disjointed words and phrases not out of conviction, but because of the feedback and outrage he gets from every nonsensical comment. He's fueling the rage and I doubt he really believes what he is saying, but is rather having a couple of private laughs over everyones immediate outrage.

Hey things seem a lot improved over there in general. I hope the Iraqis appreciate their freedom and democracy? Dont forget Who it was who helped you!

seekingtruth dc, AIPAC/ISRAEL...
there's a pretty obvious distinction between political organizations like aipac, the state of israel and "the jews" as a whole, though.

Iraqi resistance will put stop to Israels plan!

I estimate your country owes us $2 trillion.

ExBabylonianJew!, Yes I am aware of how you claim Iraq as yours and greater Israehell's.
USAPatriot? You are wacked!! The Iraqis did not ask for this war, it was all a Bush wacked war created with misinformation fed to the american public.
Information provided by the likes of Chalabi!
